FL Studio 20.7 Update Adds Scripting For MIDI Controllers

Image-Line has released FL Studio 20.7 new update for its popular DAW, which although it is not a “major” update, has still been loaded with interesting new features and improvements.
The main novelty is the new Visualizer “Video wizard”, a tool that allows you to create music videos from templates ready for networks like YouTube, Instagram, and Facebook, with the integration of image and video content, in addition to the possibility of doing VJ tasks such as shooting clips and video and control DMX devices.
FL Studio 20.7 also includes new MIDI scripts to allow hardware manufacturers to take control of FL Studio in-depth forms from any MIDI controller in the FL Studio DAW.
The new VFX plugin allows you to modify the note envelopes (Velocity, Pitch, and Pan) for plugins hosted in the Patcher. The piano roll note system has been improved now with a dedicated color picker.
Other new features includes: the support for General MIDI files in the FLEX instrument, improved Newtime, new Transient & Tempo detection modes, new Mono, and Wide modes in the Distructor plugin. Delay compensation can now be applied to automation, a new option for fill the empty space in a loop to fit the pattern, among other improvements.
In addition to the aforementioned, FL Studio now promises a faster start and has a new demo song project by Anna Mia and a new default project with a basic 808 plus a limiter. FL Studio Mobile has also been updated to integrate Cloud Backup.
FL Studio 20.7 update is available right now from Image-Line for all DAW users. It is a free update, following the company’s policy of free updates for life.
